I can't setup
I downloaded the trial version of SageTV and installs fine. But when it runs the setup wizard it asks me to pick a capture device from the list below but their is no list! I have a Motorola DCT6200 connected through firewire. I know it works fine because I can watch it using VLC. I'm not interested in recording just watching livetv is this possible?

SageTV does not directly support a firewire connection. You would have to look into the firewire info from link(s) in this index: Hardware related utilities and customizations.
