sage supports dscaler plugins?
I got to asking about the windvd5 progressive deinterlacing on the avsforums and someone started talking about it... comparing it to "TomsMoComp"
http://sourceforge.net/projects/deinterlace/ Can SageTV support dscaler plugins?! if so this is available to us.. i would like to look at it... Apparently this is a good form of deinterlacing tho (the windvd one) so it'll be good to try and get support for it, unless intervideo are holding it close to their chest for their software (they do after all have their own tv card viewing software dont they!?).. the windvd one is supposed to be less CPU intensive than the one linked above.. perhaps that'll mean that the one above is better too.. i have plenty of CPU spare at the moment.. |

Look under Setup->Video There's a whole section about DScaler. The manual for SageTV is also very informative, I HIGHLY recommend to everyone that they read it.

On a serious note, there are some people in the world who really hate having to read acrobat files. I'm one of them. The worst is trying to find particular text.....to FT LLC's credit, the SageTV manual is text-searchable which is a huge thing. It makes an acrobat file palatable. Thanks for that.
