New audio problems
The only thing I have changed lately is my cat driver for my ati card and my res. Yesturday I watched a dvd which worked fine, but when I went to watch a recorded show through sage or TheaterTek after watching 3 minutes of video the audio changes and sounds really shitty. It almost sounds like its sinthized. Does anyone know what might be doing this?

I had a problem that sounds similar with my old style PVR-250 that I had owned for several years. After several days recordings from that card would suddenly start sounding weird. High pitched and distorted. Recordings from my other, newer, PVR-500 were fine.
A reboot would fix it, but anything recorded while it was in that state would have the crappy audio. I just learned to reboot my machine every couple days. I have since removed that card from that machine. It was one of the original model PVR-250's, not a newer style one which has a different set of chips in it. I always had problems getting that one to "play nice" with a newer card in the machine. A driver would work great with one or the other, but getting a driver to work with both an older and newer card was a real pain.

I am having a simmilar issue... I have a chaintech av-710 and after a while of watching sage the sound turns crappy as well (sounds fuzzy and warbled). Not sure whats going on. If I stop and restart watching, the sound corrects itself. Anyone else???
