Please help setting up a Blackbird
I have a Blackbird card and am having problems with it. Can anyone tell me the settings they use to get it to work? It is the Conexant 23880 series and seems to be an AverMedia, although I am not sure.
I was getting video that was okay the bottom 1/3, but the top 2/3 was a scrambled version of the picture 3 times across. Then, I changed my DVD quality which turned it into one blue screen. I cannot get past this. Thanks in advance for any help. Wayne Last edited by whardy7; 08-29-2005 at 07:18 PM. |

If you are not sure what card it is then what drivers did you load for the card? If you don't have the right drivers loaded you're going to have issues.

Gerry,
The card came with the Hewlett Packard as part of their Media Center package with drivers installed. It does not specify the card it is using - even their website does not indicate what it is. By looking at it, it appears to be the Avermedia 150. All I know is that it says "Conexant 23880 Video Capture Blackbird NTSC Dual-Input" in the driver listing. Anyone using this driver successfully and can you tell me what your settings are for SageTV? |
