MediaMVP Failed to Locate GUI Server
I am trying to get a MediaMVP to work with SageTV. I installed a the SageTVclient and Server, and I installed the Streams.ch plug-in and all I get is the MediaMVP screen and at the bottom is says:
Failed to locate GUI Server Any Suggestions? Thanks Tenspeed

Have you looked on the server? It's probably sitting on the screen asking you to set up your prefrences, like Location, media directories, etc.. The MVP won't show the screen until you get it past that to the main SageTV screen.

I found out what it was. I left the MVP client on in the bedroom and it locked on to SageTV first, and unless you have a second instance of the MVP plugin installed it wouldn't connect to the sagetv server.
