OT: Picture in picture
I had a day off today and rebuilt my computer. With 2 tuners from Hauppauge in tow, there was an old ATI TV Wonder card I had laying around. Since there were 3 free slots, I plugged it in and wanted to see how well the hardware VMR on my ATI Radeon 9550 worked.
It now displays a pseudo PiP with no real slow-down in quality on the main screen when using the ATI TV program. Maybe one day Sage can do this without the need for a second program. *hoping* It would be nice to be able to swap screens like you could on a regular TV if you have multiple tuners. Also, if you're watching a recorded show and have only one tuner, it would seem cool to have this feature also..... I would assume you'd need VMR to make it work, but it's something fun to try.... Is this in the works anytime in the near future?
