error (-4,0x0)
problem rendering the video portion of content for playback.
I am operating xp pro, win tv pvr 150. I have not got past the menu without getting an error. |

That one is a general error message. I've heard that it is often fixed by re-installing, so I would suggest that you try doing a clean install.
If this is a new install for a trial, just uninstall SageTV, delete the entire directory and try again. If you have been using SageTV for a while and have data from previously viewed or recorded shows that you would like to keep, you will need to keep your current wiz.bin file. See this FAQ for some additional clean install comments. Make sure that you do not use any of your current proeprties files after a clean install like this -- you will have to reconfigure everything, but it will clean out any possible bad settings. - Andy

I got this after installing sagetv record, today.
guessing messed up a driver. a repair fixed it. |
