Video Card Question

I just got an ATI Stealth S60 with Radeon 7000 to work with my SageTV. The picture quality is just ok.

I have two questions- could somebody please advise?

1. How important is the video card for the picture quality on the TV?
2. What settings tweaks can I do in either sage, the video card or other to make the picture better?

Thanks.

hmmm, i don't think that card will work very well with sage (if at all). The video card is very important if you are hooking it up to a TV. For starters, i don't think it is directx9. I had an ATI 7500 that I hooked up via S-video to my TV and the quality was horrible. It was expecially noticeable when you watched CNN and the ticker on the bottom was either blurry or jagged. I upgraded to a 9600XT and the difference was like night and day. I can not recommend any tweaks unfortunately, i think you are limited with the card. I would recommend upgrading when possible. Sorry,
JUC

It is however superb - Means I can play games on the system as well.
