USB-UIRT won't work, any other options?

USB-UIRT won't work, any other options?

I have tried for the past five months or so to get two different USB-UIRT devices to successfully blast to two different Hughes HTL-HD set-top boxes. The most frequent affliction is that the first (of three) digits is consistently omitted. Were I to schedule 20 events or so (on 3-digit channels, i.e., not with a leading "zero") perhaps three would tune correctly.

I am now wondering if there is any value in pursuing other options. Does the MyBlaster/USB (which claims to have SageTV support) have such learning/transmission issues?
