Recommend remote for MVP?

Hello all,

In my neverending quest to maximize the WAF of my Sage setup, I'm seeking recommendations for a cheap programmable remote to use with an MVP connected to a regular TV. I'd like to be able to control both the MVP and the TV from the same remote. Ideally, it'd have macros, so that a single button press turns on the TV and the MVP.

If you have any recommendations, I'd love to know. If there are remotes I should definitely stay away from, I'd love to know that, too.

You might want to check out the JP1 capable remotes. They are fairly inexpensive, there is free software to program them, and they can be programmed to control the Hauppauge devices fairly easily.

Hauppauge link #2 in my sig lines has info about replacing the remote. While the MVP doesn't use the irremote.ini file, it does use the same remote, so reprogramming another one to match its codes is pretty much the same. (I haven't bothered trying to use different codes with my MVP yet.)
