Big Screen DLP TV's from the US - can they be used in the UK ?

Hi,

Im currently based in the UK, but will shortly be moving to the US because of work.

I want to buy one of those rather nice Rear projection DLP TV's (Samsung HL-R5067W ) , but I wondered if anyone knew if they will work in the UK.
(My assignment is for 18 months) . I know that the tuners won't, but wondered if they would be ok to play Pal programmes on from a PC.

Anyone know ?

Cheers

Mark

Ok as a follow up to that , does anyone have a DLP screen they would recommend, or have any experience with the Samsung HL-R5067W ?

Cheers

I like my mitsubishi 65 inch crt... but I'm looking at a samsung 60 inch DLP myself right now. The samsungs get pretty good reviews. Hitachi ultravisions are also pretty good. I have been looking at a 55 inch ultravision off and on and it's picture is REALLY nice.

As to whether they'll work in the uk... I have no idea. PAL might screw with them though I would think.
