Did you have any problems with the A180 making your PVR 150MCE's not work correctly? When I installed my single A180, it killed the PVR500 due to Audio Encoding problems, something I could undo on the fly simply by disabling the A180 card in the Hardware Profile.

I created a thread about it with system details HERE.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

No, they work in the same system with no issues.

This may be a stupid question, but I got a little confused with the "Dual Tuner Driver".

Does this mean a single AV180 can tune to 2 HD broadcasts at the same time?

Or does this mean an install can support 2 AV 180 cards.

Long story short. I have 2 AV180 cards. With the dual tuner drivers, how many channels can I simultaneously watch/record?

And, if I can watch 4 channels (2 for each card), where do I get the drivers. I download the latest from AVerMedia and I only see 2 tuners (on for each card).

Also, I am running winXP Pro.

Thanks,
chiledog

Nope, only 1 channel per card. Receiving two at once would require a serious update to the hardware!

Help with Windows Vista an Dual Avermedia 180

I hope someone can help me, I am trying to get sage to work with two Avermedia 180 tuners, I can get the one set up just fine an working an when I go to set up the second one my sage crashes right away, I found at avermedias site a driver for dual tuner support there, and I installed this and got just alittle bit farther in the set up of the second tuner but then it crashed again, I am wondering if this is set up for Windows Vista or not, or if someone could lead me to the right drivers or help in what to do next Thanks
