Recording a series??
I was wondering if it was possible to get Sage to realize that it already has a show recorded, so it doesn't have to record it again. Meaning....if I have a particular episode recorded of "Smallville" and it comes on again at some later time that would normally be recorded, can I flip some setting that would make Sage check it's databse of recorded shows and realize that it doesn't need to record the upcoming episode???
I do this for children's shows and it's annoying to have like 3 recordings of the same "Wiggles" episode on the machine. -Brian |

The Wiggles is one of those pesky shows that does not uniquely identify each episode. Sage does not record that which has been already recorded. The trouble is in the case of the Wiggles from Disney channel, Sage does not know if the show is new or not.

There's a FAQ for this: Does SageTV know enough to record a show only once?
SageTV can only deal with the data it receives from the EPG source. You could contact SageTV directly to ask them to look into EPG problems; perhaps the data provider could beign including full details for shows where it is missing. (here's an old post w/a contact link) - Andy
