Capturing Video in ATI 9550

Yesterday I tried to capture video on my new ATI 9550 VIVO via the Composite Video In. I am running the version 2.2.8 of SageTV.

I did see the a video in other video cpaturing applications.

I was happy to see that during the inital setup SageTV has recognized my capture card, however once I tried to push video in (Live TV) I got an error from the software and it was stuck.

So you think I have a cable or software problem here?
Will verison 3.0.5 solve this issue?

Thanks,
Daniel

2.2.8 does not support software capture cards.

I have been using the current v3 and am getting the same results with my 9600XT VIVO and AIW 7500---I haven't heard of anyone getting the AIW or VIVO cards working yet but I believe some have had luck with some other types. I guess we just wait and see.
