Very Conufssed with Hauppague PVR2 Silver Remote

When I installed sage, the remote worked pretty well, except the directional arrows on the remote didn't control the selector in Sage. I downloaded irremote-ini_documentation.zip and 2_42_22180_ir32.zip
I am not confident enough to start editing the .ini file
When I installed 2_42_22180_IR32.exe none of the buttons worked. I restarted IR and still none work, not for sage or wintv.
Did I just kill my remote?

The driver you downloaded probably came out before the latest 45-button Hauppauge remote, so it isn't really the file you want. (I updated that post to note that; I'll try to link to a more recent driver at some point.)

Reinstall the remote driver that came with your tuner.

The issue is that SageTV v2 wasn't updated to use that remote, so you will need the ini for the 45 button remote found in either post 3 of Hauppauge link 1 in my sig lines, or post 15 of link #3.

The v3 beta contains support for both remotes, so you can just configure it & use it from within SageTV -- you choose which one in the initial Configuration Wizard & then update/change it in Detailed Setup -> Commands.
