Toshiba DLP HDTV HTPC Connection

Hi All,

I have been going nuts looking for solid information on connecting an HTPC to my Toshiba 62HM94. Can anybody here tell me what video card to use? What type of connection? I want a great picture 720P maybe 1080i. Please let me know if you are actually using (with the Toshiba HD line) what you suggest. I have read many posts that say what should work in theory, does not work in practice.

Thanks,

Chris Lopeman

What inputs does your TV have? That's what is going to matter most. My Panasonic HDTV has a vga in so virtually any video card will work. I currently have a nVidia FX5700 connected at 1280 x 720 and it works great.

Using DVI from video card to HDMI on my Sony HDTV. Nvidia 6600GT video card. Works great.
