Prescheduling recordings

I have some shows that I'd like to watch but I'm getting tired of searching for them all the time. I'm not finding them in searches because they are not on the EPG schedule yet. I know there is a way to setup a favorite with only a show title... I am wondering if anybody else has used the "Favorite by Keyword" and what luck you have had with it?

For example I want to watch Prison Break, which I think starts airing this fall, what's the best way to set it up? Any tips on this would be great.

The current release (v2.2.8) does not have title-only keyword favs.

This is new in the v3 beta: just put "TITLE:" in front of the keyword to limit it to searching show titles only. (All caps; don't add the quotes; & you won't need to type in "TITLE:" in the next beta release, since it will ask what type of keyword fav you want it to be.)

You should be able to use TITLE:Prison Break, or TITLE:"Prison Break" to search for that exact 2-word phrase. BTW: The wildcards mentioned in the manual work for title keyword favs too.

Here we may finally have a reason to upgrade.

I used to do that a lot with TiVo. With BTV you can use their snapstream.net interface to get an email if the show comes on.
