BTC9019URT wireless keyboard
i'm using the 9019 to control my EVIA based HTPC in my living room.
it does a great job for navigating windows and SageTV control screens. however, i have not been able to figure out how to teach STV to listen to the multimedia keys on the top row so i can control the 'player' functions. thanks in advance for your advice... |

BTW: If those keys simply send the same sort of commands as most such multimedia keys, then they should be sending standard Windows messages that SageTV already knows how to respond to. (As covered in the SageTV Commands section of Chapter 5 in the PDF manual in your SageTV dir.) I'm just not certain whether SageTV needs to have focus when those buttons are in use. Also, I think it is possible that if some other program is running which uses those keys, the commands may not get passed along to SageTV.

you will need BTC's "Key Maestro" that came with the keyboard. You can then assign windows commands (as andy said) to the hotkeys for whatever you want.
Most of them are actually correct by default though.
