commercials detect.
Hello friends,
I tried to use the commercials detect, (I use pal), I'm not sure that i did everything correct (i changed the frame-rate to fit pal standard), but it will not detect commercials well. meaning, it detects only small part of the commercials, and with the commercials the part of the show. can anyone please help?

Hi,
try Showanalyser instead, It should be available for download tommorow from dragonglobal.org. the guy who wrote it (Jere Jones) did a huge amount of the comskip development. He has also done a lot of work with people from various countries to try and get it right - I sent him some UK (PAL) shows I recorded myself so he could tweak it. Cheers Mark

Hi,
using 0.4.0, it worked nicely on several uk channels , (Sky one, Sky Mix, Discovery - any with logo's that go away on commercials) , the clips were for constant logo channels, Im looking forward to seeing the new version ! Cheers Mark
