PVR-350 not detected during Sage installation
After installing Sage 2.2 it asks you to select your video capture card in the setup wizard. There is nothing there to select. It appears that the pvr-350 is installed correctly. Has anyone else come across this problem before. Thanks

Is the 350 in use by some other program? Is the Hauppauge software or some other PVR app also running? Look in sage.proeprties to make sue it isn't listed on the mmc/ignore_encoders line for some reason.

PVR-350 not showing on Setup Wizard
I checked the file and it is not listed with mmc/ignore_encoders.
Looking at the Device Manager it shows the PVR-350 without any problems I have a dual boot system with Windows XP and Windows XP MCE Presently I'm booted in Windows XP, this is where I installed the Sage Program. Everything works great in Windows XP MCE, I don't know why it does not work here. Still searching for the answer!! |

The most common issue with 350 not showing up in the options, is if you have a 250 also installed in the system. If you install in a certain order, SageTV will treat the 350 as a 250. You can fix this by uninstalling both of the cards, and reinstalling. When the machine detects the cards and prompts you for installation, skip the first installation by clicking cancel, and install the second as you normally would. Then you reboot, and install the drivers for the 350. More of this is in some of the troubleshooting threads for the 350 in the 2004 feb-june timeframe.
