S-video > RG-6 standard cable

This seems kindof far-fetched to me but I thought I would give it a whirl.

Is it possible to convert a standard s-video cable and two standard R/L audio cables to one (1) RG-6 coax cable input?

OR

standard 3 wire A/V set to coax?

Yep, they have them at radioshack as well as many other places, had to get one because the old tv we had didnt have AV inputs and it was cheaper to get one of thoes than order the coax thing for the gamecube.

Now that we have snoopy hooked up, does anybody know where you can get an RF DEmodulator, that is, take ch.3 on coax and output it to RCA or S-video.

I have an old cable box that only does coax, no other outputs, and I would like to be able to set it up as a secondary input using the RCA or S-video connectors.

If worst comes to worst, I could just run the cable box output through an vcr (unused since I discovered Sage ) and use it to convert to RCA.

Unfortunately, your best bet may be to use the unused VCR. Most of the fixed frequency demodulators I've seen are rack mount units and cost ~$300us. Agile demods are over $500us. Much more than a cheap, unused VCR.
