How do we find out about new service areas?

When SageTV's EPG coverage expands to include my city (San Diego), how will I find out? Will there be an announcement?

(I am assuming that I didn't miss one...)

You bet there'll be an announcement.

It will be November 1st at the latest that we expand to cover the whole country.

Glad to hear! I've been so cranked up, planning out my HTPC box and software that I failed to notice Sage doesn't support EPG in my area yet! I know I can do the XMLTV dance, but I'm looking forward to the bells and whistles.

I've signed up for the email list - will the new service areas be posted in the forums and/or emailed out?

Thanks!

Jason

November 1st?

Great.. I have been letting my HTPC get dusty waiting for coverage in Provo, Utah (AKA Utah Valley).

I remapped all my channels from a covered area in my time zone and it is working pretty well so far. Once remapped the channels show the correct local number and using logos makes it even better. The only thing missing is the correct local (not prime time) programming information for the local networks (ABC,NBC,CBS,FOX,WB).
