FreqShifter v1.0, free tool for overriding TV channel frequencies

Where do I get a list of frequencies? I checked my cable provider's website: Time Warner in Fulton, NY, but can't find anything.

Go to this Microsoft Website and click on NTSC United States for the frequencies. I successfully used Frequency Shifter before I switched to DirecTV.

Be sure to scroll down the table because there is a set of cable frequencies after the normal ones.

Comes up with message saying all are blank, and nothing is available to set, no options at all, except for Help and the exit icon.

Channel 21 is my worst channel, coming out like a weak signal.

Couple of things. First, if you look up the frequencies there are cable and non-cable frequencies. Next, you only need to use FreqShifter if you are not using a cable box. Next, if you are getting snow then the idea is you will need to offset the frequency so that the channel comes into focus. I found by offsetting it 1,500,000 worked for me and I wrote a program to offset all of them. But, you will have to play with it to see what works. For me, I found channels 2-13 were fine but it was the higher channels (some) that had horrible snow/fuzziness with no sound at all. Search for a thread called "fuzzy channels" about a year or so back as I posted some solutions re freq shifter.

But, when you said "didn't work" your post was asking where to find the frequencies. I believe I answered that but those are the standard frequencies and if you are getting fuzzy channels then you will have to offset the frequencies and play with it to find what to use so that they come into focus.
