Unhappy No Video/Audio -- WinTV works okay though

I am not getting any video or audio in SageTV although I do see the menus on my TV. By way of contrast, the Hauppauge WinTV application works perfectly. I am connected to an antenna.

My system is a new Intel Celeron 2.66 GHz, Windows XP Home with 768 MB of memory and a Hauppauge PVR-350 and SageTV 2.2.8 (board and software purchased as a bundle). I have tried the motherboard Intel graphics adapter and a Leadtek (nVidia-based) 8x AGP adapter (128 MB) with no difference.

I've gone through the exercise of running HWCLEAR, reinstalling the INF and Hauppauge applications from the Hauppauge web site and reinstalling SageTV but I still do not get any video or audio either on the TV or PC monitor, although I do see the menus and the frame with the program information when you initially watch live TV. The recorded file, when played back through Windows Media Player 10 also generates a black screen. Recording a show in WinTV and then playing it back in WMP10 works as expected.

I have tried (what seems like) every possible combination of settings in the application and none make any difference.

Any ideas?

try clearing those hauppage files out again and installing the ones from the cd that came with the card. I had that same issue even with the "latest" drivers off hauppauge's web site.

Another option is to use drivers from http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?board=10.0
