No Video/Audio -- WinTV works okay though
I am not getting any video or audio in SageTV although I do see the menus on my TV. By way of contrast, the Hauppauge WinTV application works perfectly. I am connected to an antenna.
My system is a new Intel Celeron 2.66 GHz, Windows XP Home with 768 MB of memory and a Hauppauge PVR-350 and SageTV 2.2.8 (board and software purchased as a bundle). I have tried the motherboard Intel graphics adapter and a Leadtek (nVidia-based) 8x AGP adapter (128 MB) with no difference. I've gone through the exercise of running HWCLEAR, reinstalling the INF and Hauppauge applications from the Hauppauge web site and reinstalling SageTV but I still do not get any video or audio either on the TV or PC monitor, although I do see the menus and the frame with the program information when you initially watch live TV. The recorded file, when played back through Windows Media Player 10 also generates a black screen. Recording a show in WinTV and then playing it back in WMP10 works as expected. I have tried (what seems like) every possible combination of settings in the application and none make any difference. Any ideas? -- z |

try clearing those hauppage files out again and installing the ones from the cd that came with the card. I had that same issue even with the "latest" drivers off hauppauge's web site.

Another option is to use drivers from http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?board=10.0
