Heya,
I believe the HD-3000 would be one. Can you list the cards you know already acknowledge the braodcast flag? Thanks, RedR |

None of them do that I'm aware of. The BF was canned by the Supreme Court.

Actually, after seeing a friends DVR/VCR combo JVR unit, I'd be shocked to see that none do. This change with JVC was made to support the broadcast flag requirement support in July. Just because the Supreme Court stopped it, doesn't mean that manufacturers didn't ramp up to support the broadcast flag well before July, or more so when the Supreme Courts decision was made just before the cut off. Heck, for that matter who knows, could the timing and the decision by the Supreme Court be why SageTV 3.0 isn't here yet? SageTV is having to pull out the broadcast flag support they were having to account for? Who knows ;P
Anyway back on topic... IMO, it’s a very valid question, and I'd like to hear what cards currently do support it vs. do not. Frankly though, I think this question will have to be put to each manufacturer via email. I doubt you'll find any public doc or manual that says they do or do not. Thanks, RedR |

Further, remember that the BF only applied to cards manufactured after the deadline, so it's quite likely that any manufacturer that was planning a BF card never actually started producing it. |
