SageTV Crashes if 350 Hardware Decoding Only set to ENABLE
My PVR has the following components:
-SilverStone Lascala Case LC02 -Via EPIA-M10000 1GHZ Motherboard with 512MB DDR-SDRAM -Maxtor 3.5" full-size 250GB ultra ATA 7200 HDD -Panasonic Slim CD -Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-350 PCI card and new Hauppauge remote -SageTV software and Windows XP Home OS. When my SageTV "Hardware Decoding Only' is set to DISABLE and I view live TV, I have the TV video on both the TV and the VGA. To conserve CPU load, I want to have the TV signal appear only on my TV (through the WinTV-PVR-350 hardware out) and not on my VGA screen. However, when I set 'Hardware Decoding Only' to ENABLE, then try to watch llive TV, SageTV immediately unloads and my PVR reverts to the Windows desktop, forcing me to launch SageTV all over again. I removed and re-installed SageTV to try and correct this, but it did not solve the problem. Any thoughts regarding what could be causing this? |

I had this when I first setup my pvr350. It is actually somethig simple like the audio render setting I think. I could never remember. Just go and default your audio settings. If that doesnt work, cycle through your renderers until it doesnt crash. GL
