Recording After Watching a While?
Just noticed that, if I told SageTV to record a show after watching it from the beginning, the resultant video will only contain the part after I gave the "record" command, even though, originally, I can time-shift to the beginning of the show if I wanted to.
Is there a way to tell Sage to keep the whole show instead of cutting it off like that? |

It should keep the entire file that you watched from the beginning. What version are you running?

Quote:
1. Start with LiveTV. 2. Watch for a while. Verify it's possible to time-shift by skipping back and forth. 3. Press back to guide, press record. 4. Go back to LiveTV. It'll allow time-shifting for a few seconds, then "lose" the time-shifted content and start soley from when "record" was pressed. Closing SageTV and opening the file saved in the video directory will show that it begins at the time the "record" command was sent, as well. |

This bug was just fixed for this build, it's in 1.4.7 Beta.

Good to know...
Any idea when a version with the fix will be released?

We're testing it over the weekend, and assuming no problems (I've already been testing it for a day, there were a lot of fixes, want to be sure they're all working), we'll release it on Monday.
