Missing first 4 minutes
I seem to have a problem with my Sage setup.
First the details: SageTV 2.2.8 PVR-150 with very latest drivers (2.0.30.23159) Sempron 2500+ I'm having a problem where I have one show that's missing the first 4 minutes (Exactly). The minutes show up as red when I attempt to view the file. It seems to be happening consistently with this one favorite. Possible factors: 1 minute of padding beforehand (which I've since removed) Show starts at weird times (5:39PM or 2:05AM) As far as I know there are no conflicts. Can anyone point me in the right direction to solve this problem? Thanks! |

Right, that's the post I read before. I was looking for that while trying to write this post.
I tried the "fast_mux_switch=false" trick last night, and managed to TOTALLY mangle my card. No video or audio seemed to be produced at all, just a black screen. I had to change the value back to true and reboot to make the problem go away. Frustrating in the extreme. I figured I'd start over from scratch and see if anyone here had a new solution. I think I'll try it again tonight when I have more time for things to mess up. |

480x480??
OK, I set this to false tonight, and had the first hour and a half be red *and* have no video in.
Then I had a light go off and changed my resolution from "Good" to "Great", and boom, everything seemed ok again. Might this have something to do with the resolution? "Good" is 480x480, yet the PVR-150 seems happiest at 352x480. I'll leave things on "Great" for a while to see if the problem vanishes, then experiment with various resolutions to see if there's an issue. |
