Logitech Kordless Keyboard. Pause button- Almost works
I use a Logitech Cordless LX Duo. When I press the Pause button on the keyboard, SageTV does not pause... it slows down a lot like it's trying to pause, but usually decides not to. The pause button on my keyboard works for other media apps. What's going on?

On a similar note, I'd like to make all of the media keys on my Logitech keyboards work with Sage and keep them working with other media apps. I can't seem to train tehse keys using the Sage Command screens.

As far as I know, those devices' multimedia keys send Windows messages to the active application; they are not 'normal' keystrokes. SageTV responds to many such commands & they are listed on p. 154 of the v2.2 manual.
If the pause key is sending the pause command listed on that page, I'm not sure why it wouldn't pause. Hmmm. Unless it sends Pause/Play & it gets repeated as the key is held down... in which case, there is probably a 50% chance that you end up back in Play mode. Is it possible to configure how the keyboard's multimedia keys function? - Andy

Forgot to follow up on this one. Keyboard does send Pause/Play. Many of the keys are customizeable but not the pause key. Mike |
