Anybody having problems with ATI and Overlay

I do not know what happened but whenever I do Overlay Theatre Mode with my AIW 9800 Pro I get weird artifacts in the video. The non-overlay video looks fine. If I enable Overlay as Same for both my LCD and HDTV then the video is distorted on both. But non overlay is fine.

This happens in any video application... I tried updating Drivers, Bios and everything else.

Just wondering if anybody else had a similiar problem or opinions to whether this is Corruption in software or Hardware issue...
