Sage locking PC when changing channels

Hi all,

Just recently I've started having problems with Sage when it tries to change channels for a new recording. I run Sage 2.2.7 (I think .7 but should check) and use the Exetuner plugin to run a serial-port controlled IR transmitter (RedEye remote). All has worked fine previous to the 2.2 upgrade I did a few weeks ago.

I suspect it's due to changing channels because the PC has completely locked (requiring hard power off) a few times at <hour>.59mins - I can see the clock "frozen" at this time - so I'm suspecting the channel change that occurs as a new recording starts.

I suppose it could be just a new recording starting causing the problems.

Rest of PC - PVR-350, Geforce4MX, 512Mb ram, 3x200Gb drives, Athlon 1800XP. With Cayars STV.

As I say, it was all fine until the 2.2 upgrade... anyone have any clues as to how I could diagnose further?
