Nvidia VPP Decoder with ATI 9600 and a 3D Accel/AA font question

I am running the Nvidia decoders with the VPP decoder selected (smart and best selected in the applet) and Overlay.

Everything looks great - but I get horizontal tearing on animated stuff like Family guy.

Any suggestions?

Second issue is that if I turn on 3D acceleration - it seems anti aliasing of fonts goes away and the GUI looks like crap.

I'd like to try VMR9 with 3D accel - but I dont want to give up AA on fonts.
