BUG Report: Favorite Rerun/live TV issue

I think my wife ran across a bug in Sage tonight. We're running 2.27. How do I properly report it?

We have a First-Run favorite for "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition". She was watching one channel in Live TV... She changed to the channel where the favorite was running (but it's a re-run). Next, she tried changing away, but Sage poped up a dialog saying "Watching 'Cold Case' at 8:00PM on 6 WTEV conflicts with scheduled recordings. Please select an option: Dont Do Anything or Watch the selected show and cancel the recording of 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' at 8:00PM on 5 WJXX".

When she told me (after it happened), I thought she just happened to flip to that channel when it was coming on, but I checked and it was a bit after 8:30.. (The show starts at 8)...

I had her switch off to another channel, and she was able to watch TV as expected... Then, I had her switch back to the channel that show was on and it did it again...

There's a tech support link in my sig lines.

But, are you sure the Extreme Makeover show was not a favorite? Does it have a white outline around it in the LiveTV Guide? If so, it is a fav -- perhaps not the favorite you are checking, but maybe there is another fav entry for it. Or, was the Record button hit on the remote, perhaps accidentally? That would tell SageTV to make it a Manual Recording & you would get a conflict notification if you tried to watch something else instead.

Extreme Makeover is a First-run favorite... If it were a First-Run and Re-run favorite, it would have already been recording it, since it started just over 30 minutes before my wife had this issue.. And, we were able to reproduce it (while the show was still on) by simply going back to that channel, so it wasn't an accidental Record press...

Hmm.. I didn't know hitting Record would do that, though... So, if you are watching a show and decide you want to record it, simply hit that button and Sage keeps it, eh?... Good to know!
