Expired Serial?

Hi guys,

I d/l the 1.4.3 beta last week to give it a try and used it for 6 days out of the 10 day trial. I then upgraded to the 1.4.5 beta and I only have 4 days left on my trial.

Shouldn't I receive another 10 day trial period?? How can I extend the current beta so I can keep testing?

Thanks,

-KoolKat

The way I understand it, your 10 day trial is based on 10 days total and is independent of what version of the software you are running.

How can I extend my trial period so I can continue testing?? Seems kinda weird to have that limitation for a beta.....doesn't it?

Not if it is a PUBLIC beta...

Otherwise, since there is pretty much always a beta version available from Frey people could get away with NEVER buying the software, and always just run the beta... Forever.

Obviously if you buy the registered version, then install a beta version, there is no time bomb at all.

Think of it as this: The time limit was intended to test released version of the software, not to beta test the software. If you like it, you can buy it, then the beta versions do not expire either.

Makes sense to me I definately am planning on buying the software.....I guess I'll just speed the process up.
