Anyone got a CCTV Channel?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has got a CCTV input to Sage, and if so how did you do it?

I want to get a smaal IR camera for use as a baby monitor, and put the output thru a modulator, I would assume I could then just pick it up as a channel in sage.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Dan

I have exactly that setup. I'm not sure why you need the modulator (maybe I don't know what you mean). Basically, I have a wireless IR camera in the baby's room. The receiver has video out to the compostite input on one of my PVR-250's. Setup the composite source in the Setup Wizard, without programming data and, Bada boom, channel 1 is now the baby's room from any TV in the house.

FYI: this created peace of mind that would be difficult to convey.

CCTV Modulator

Yes, I used a cheep UHF modulator and under channels I just mapped a fake channel (ch16) as my camera. If we leave I can manually record ch16 and check it when I get back.Works well.
