Support for Software Cards - View Only?

Is there ANY way to support software cards (TV Wonder, Regular WinTV, All In Wonder etc. etc.) for view functionality ONLY? I was hoping to build a small Shuttle cube with an All in Wonder in the AGP slot and a Hauppauge PVR 150 in the PCI slot.

The desired functionality is to watch on the ATI AIW (no buffering, no PVR, no Trickplay etc.) and record on the PVR-150.

I know that mediaportal supports this already, but I like the distributed nature of SageTV that allows me to have multiple PVRs / Tuners throughout the house.
