Question on SageTV protocols

A question driven out of purely idle curiosity...

What is the protocol used to stream video from the SageTV server to the SageTV client?

Narflex's Video Stream-o-rama Protocol

I've written way too much networking code in my days....I've probably developed at least 20 custom protocols that cover from everything from video streaming to distributed war game weapons synchronization to global media tracking & distribution.

I bet if the RIAA and MPAA have their way, someday those media tracking protocols and weapons synchronization programs will be very closely linked :-)
