Audiotrak Maya 7.1 soundcard

Has anyone got one of these?
Did you get it working?

I have just setup a client box but I am having trouble with the soundcard.
I bought the Audiotrak Maya 7.1 card as it was fairly inexpensive and looked like it would cover future (surround) needs.

The problem is I just can't seem to get it working.
I can get live/recorded TV to play OK, but when I try to play a ripped DVD (that plays fine in WMP and played fine with previous sound card) the video pauses after a couple of seconds (with no audio) and occasionally crashes the system.

I have the latest drivers for the card.

I have set the DVD options in sage to pretty much everything that I can think of and still no go.

Any ideas?
