350 - OSD out works, no video
This is my first post
![]() I used to be a verson 1.4 user last year and took a looooong break from TV. Anyways I am back in the game now and decided to re-install SageTV to my ol' trusty PVR PC (which I just reformatted and it's all up to date) - Epia m10000 mobo 350 card latest hauppauge drivers/apps win xp pro sp2 (i also VNC to it to make changes - does ultravnc server cause any issues?) Win2kTV works great. I mean, it sucks and all, but at least it's functional. I have tried every conceivable configuration in sagetv to no luck. At wits end. I get the OSD out (i use the s-vid connection) but absolutely no video or audio whatsoever. SageTV just isn't grabbing the tuner part of my card for some reason. Occasionally I get a weird greenish hue picture/frame of video but it's frozen. I have nothing else running other than ultravnc server so i can make remote changes. Since win2ktv works, wouldn't that show an issue with sagetv? I can provide more info if necessary. ANY help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! ![]() edit - oops this might be in the wrong forum. I'm not sure mods please move if it would be better somewhere else...thanks Last edited by Frostillicus; 05-10-2005 at 09:50 AM. |

Ok WTF...
I read in a dif post that running win2kTV application WITH sage makes sage work, and guess what?? it works. I rebooted and now I can start up sage and it works normally, but obviously doing it the first time changed something....a weird bug. |
