How do client know the channel number which being watch by server or other client?
I have 4 tuner on server connecting to cable TV which has 60 channel and 10 clients. Example, tuner_01 being watch by client_01 on channel 10, tuner_02 being watch by client_02 on channel 20, tuner_03 being watch by client_03 on channel 30, and tuner_04 being watch by client_04 on channel 40.
My question : 1. How do other clients (client_05 to client_10 and the server) knows that there is no free tuner available anymore? 2. If there is no free tuner available anymore, how do client_05 to client_10 and the server, knows which channel is being watch by other clients so they can sync LiveTV show? If they knows client_01 watch channel 10, client_02 watch channel 20, client_03 watch channel 30, and client_04 watch channel 40, then they could select which channel they prefer to watch although there is no free tuner available anymore. How do we knows that information on Sage TV Server or Sage TV Client? Thanks in advance for the help. Last edited by wieb; 05-04-2005 at 03:35 PM. |

In the LiveTV Guide, Recording Schedule, or SageTV Recordings, the currently recording shows are outlined in yellow, unless it is a manual recording, which continues to be outlined in red.
