Unhappy Getting SageTV to output Learned IR signals

Here is the premise of my dilemna:
I want to, with the push of one button on my FireFly remote, wake SageTV from sleep (thats the easy part) and also fire off a "learned" IR signal inside SageTV to turn on my TV and then another press of the same button to Sleep SageTV and turn off the TV.

I don't really want to shell out and learn Girder for just one command. In SageTV's IR setup you can teach it other IR commands, but I can't figure out how to get SageTV to "spit" out the signal. I can use the "testing" option of the IR setup to verify that the signal it learned will, if fact, turn the TV on and off, but I have yet to figure out how to setup SageTV to spit this signal out on the command of my FireFly remote.

Surely you PVR gurus out there have come across this before, please lend me a hand!

Thanks and BTW this is my first post here and I am a newbie when it comes to PVRs!

I believe this would only be possible with Girder. It won't be hard to setup, as you can still have Sage do everything like normal, while having just this command handled by girder.

EDIT: Not sure what IR emitter you are using, but you might get away with using the free version of Girder, which you can find on my site.

I have the USBUIRT IR emitter, would that suffice for the free version of Girder?

Edit: Also, I registered on your site, but I still can't get to the Downloads. Figured I would start taking a look for myself....

As I do not actually use the free version with my USB-Uirt, I can't comment on wether it works with the free version.

And you need to avtivate your account by clicking the link in the email sent to you to get access.

Good Luck.
