Need help setting up 2 eHomeWonder capture cards in SageTV

I am needing help setting up our two capture cards in SageTV. We thought we had set the second card up correctly, but now when SageTV records a program it ignores the recording quality that we have set for the default and for each favorite.

At a loss,
Donna

What bitrate are the files encoded at?

Hello,

I have three ATI eHome wonders 'working' with the November 2004 drivers from the ATI site. The only problem is that they only encode at 9.652 Mbps (the only thing I can change is program stream type DVD or SVCD not bitrate) ... is this what you're experiencing? This started on my system around January 3rd, 2005 and happens to SageTV from the 2.2.x betas up under both Windows XP SP2 and Windows XP MCE 2005. Frey looked at my sagetv_*.txt file after recording several programs at varying bitrates and they said it was most likely a driver problem at that time.

I'll be doing a fresh install soon, if I find any new solutions I'll pass them along.

Bobby,
