My Actisys IR went bad, need help PLZ
Well, my Actisys IR200L went bad. DOnt know what is going on with it, but whenever I try to load SageTV it gets stuck on the Initializing Remote Control or something like that. I tried the IR Remote on another PC, and save problem. I wanted to get another one, but this time a USB.
What is a good one? And Second: Can I just control the Receiver with a USB Cable or Firewire? I have an Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2200 unit from Adelphia. I see it has USB port in the front, cant I use that? Anyone got any info on this plz? I really hate to go and buy another one if there is a way around it. THANK YOU...

The favorite all-purpose IR blaster/receiver around here seems to be the USB-UIRT. I can't make any comments about the converter box.
