DO NOT RECORD!!!
I do not watch movies from commercial TV. The selection on DVD is so wide now that anything I want to put the time in to watch will be a rental on my projector. Is there a way to prevent IR from recording movies?

Having options for what IR records is what a lot of us would like to have. Currently, the only way to 'fine tune' IR is to use one of the custom STVs that has malore's Viewing History, then go through your history & for any type of show you don't want recorded: clear its Watched status & set it to Don't Like. I periodically go through my upcoming recording schedule (malore's version of that, too, sorted by day) and mark unwanted shows as Don't Like.
