PVR-350 DVD Workaround help

I'm working on a somewhat clunky hack to get the best of both worlds out of my pvr-350. Most of the time I use my pvr-350 to watch TV and record programs, but there is the occasion that I want to play DVD's and watch ripped DVD's (I never had any luck with converting to mpeg-2.) After a few times of cable swapping to switch between the PVR-350's s-video out and my video cards s-video out I invested $30 in an automatic s-video switch. It works great! All I have to do is disable the tv out on my video card and it automatically switches to the PVR's svideo and when I enable the video cards TV out it automatically switches back again. So the only thing that is making it annoying now is that I have to manually disable the two properties that send the TV signal and SageTV interface to the PVR's s-vide out so I can put SageTV in full screen mode. I'm not at my PC right now or I would specify exactly what those parameters are, but I think they are under the multimedia tab. So is there any way to send a custom message to enable/disable those two properties?
