Deinterlacing weirdness
I have always been getting strangness on a couple of news channels. If you look at the image I've attached you'll see what I am talking about on the lines. They are jagged and in motion they are constant bouncing pixels.
I am using Theatertek 2.1.1 that incorparates the Nvidia DVD decoder. This is only noticable using pexel adaptive deinterlacing. Using median filter everything looks good, just less sharpness than pixel adaptive. Anyone know what's going on here? |

Only on a couple of channels? Or is it just more noticeable on those channels because of news type and scrolling text etc. ?

Yeah I thought it was only the scrolling text, but you can see it under the date at the top and that's stationary. It only shows up to the point of being really annoying on these news type channels with tickers. But I can see it faintly sometime on other channels aswell.
