OK here it is. Didn't test too carefully so let me know of any issues.
OriginalV2 with comskip functionality. Will do internal processing of comskip if desired and will autoskip. See Comskip section in detailed setup. Extract file to your SageTV\STVs\OriginalV2 directory and change the SageTV Application Definition(.STV File) in the Advanced section of the Detailed Setup to OriginalV2Comskip.stv Updated May 19, 2005: Fixed OSD ComAutoSkip Added OSD Autoskip option in the options popup in OSD Last edited by ToxMox; 05-19-2005 at 08:54 PM. Can the Dynamic Menu and weather imports function with this stv? I tried the weather import and had an instant reboot.

Does the autoskip work with this stv? I didn't notice the setting in the options while viewing.

Awsome, thanks TOXMOX. I have been waiting for somebody to put it in the original STV. I will test tonight.

Yes the OSD com autoskip works. The setting only exists in the detailed setup - comskip section.

Yes it still needs comskip.exe and comskip.ini in your SageTV directory.

There are basically three steps involved in skipping commercials:
After step 2 is done and the .txt files exist then the STV can use them to autoskip. Jere [edit] Dang! Too slow! [/edit] [edit2] Added krutaw's script and added link to the appropriate threads. [/edit2]

Thats kind of what I figured, as it was only a STV file. I'll pull my config off my desktop and see how it works on the slower server machine (it's got plenty of ram, but only a P4-1.4, hopefully it won't affect my server's stability, as it's been rock-solid stable since 2.2.7 came out).

I have a minor issue. I use the callerID plugin in addition to this custom SVT. However using this comob I lose the menu for callerID. I discovered that it still exists but its at the bottom of the list and out of view. Is there any way of creating a scroll so I can reach it?
Other than that it seems to work. |

http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...&postcount=494 I'm using version .3 or something, and I have a scheduled task that runs when I know I won't be using my system (3am-5am). This allows it to run full bore, and through all the recordings for the day. It also cleans up things too. It's actually the only thing on my HTPC that I haven't tweaked in months (almost a year?). |

Oops. Thanks.
I've updated my original post to correct my oversight and added links to appropriate threads/posts. Jere
