Overlay Transparency
OK, I enabled Color Key Overlay and I am set to using Overlay(due to screen fluctuations using VMR9) Should I get semi-transparent menus when I bring up program information while watching a recording? I'm not. So basically, what should this setting do for me?

As mentioned on p. 177 of the v2.2 manual, do you have 3D Acceleration turned off? You should get pseudo-transparency then. (I guess that page ought to menton turning color keying on too... but you already knew that.)
