EPGGrab - An application to automatically run xmltv on a daily basis

Hi there,

I noticed a lot of you have had to struggle with annoying batch files for running xmltv and copying the epgdata.xml file to the appropriate place. It will run constantly and use xmltv to grab the new data on a given hour every day.

So I wrote a little app to do it automatically.

I threw it together very quickly and it most likely has bugs and such. I included the source for those who would like to fix said bugs and add new features.

It works best of course if you use something like Firedaemon to install it as a service in Win2k or XP
