I have read that some people have configured SageTV to use an external player, but I have not found clear instructions or what property have to be set so that this is done.
![]() The features I would like to set is: ![]() ![]() (Using SageTV 2.1 (Cayar's STV), Windows XP, Zoomplayer, Girder and Winamp.) |

You can do this in Cayars STV. Under Setup I think External apps. You then need to enable the external player options.
After that go and edit the Batch file in the STV/Cayars folder. Something like Media.bat and DVD.bat. You'll have to figure out the appropriate command line switches for Zoomplayer to get it setup the way you want. I actually tried this with Zoomplayer so that I could get the aspect right on my DLP TV. For some reason I couldn't get Zoomplayer to remember the launch with the right zoom profile so I've actually reverted back to the internal player for all media files and am happy using sage again. |

With Cayar's STV you also have disable for NON-Native file types only. Otherwise, it will open all your recordings in Sage. Most formats are supported by Sage natively...
